Pretty much sums up the writing experience, right?  Regardless of our ambition, every aspiring author is going to have to experience and cope with failure at some point.  Don’t look back in anger.  Just keep moving forward.  It’s a long road.  Failure is just a rest stop, but Success is the destination.
